Announcing the final release of bTemplate: bTemplate 0.3. The only addition is the addition of the <else> tag. Usage of else has been added to the documentation (and the stylesheet that had all the code samples centered has been fixed as well). Why is this the last release? Because as far as I know, there aren't any bugs, and I no longer use bTemplate for any new projects (as I have come up with a better solution: read the article. I will still be visiting the message board regularly and helping with any issues you may have.

Tim Bates has contributed some changes that allow bTemplate to parse multiple "ifs" with only one set() call. Until I have the chance to consider adding similar functionality to loops & cloops, you can see the code in this message board thread. Thanks for the contribution, Tim.

Just a small design update. The page now uses CSS positioning exclusively (no tables, and no spacer images). Seems to work fine in Opera, Mozilla, and IE.

Basic Information
bTemplate is a PHP class that facilitates the separation of PHP code and whatever markup language you use to define the presentation of your data (HTML, XML, etc.).

Site Navigation
Use the menu at the left to navigate this site. The choices are outlined below.

This page. It (obviously) contains links to the other sections of the site as well as basic information about bTemplate.

These benchmarks were downloaded off the Smarty site and directly installed on this server. They compare various template libraries available on the net. Please hold down your [shift] key while clicking the benchmarks link, as they do not contain a direct link back to this site.

Online documentation explaining how to use bTemplate. The documentation is also included in the download (so you do not have to go online to view the docs).

Information on the license(s) bTemplate is released under. I do not charge for this class, nor do I place many restrictions on how it may be used. Please click the link for more information.

Message Board
The message board is where you can ask questions and make suggestions regarding bTemplate. If you would like to contact me, I would prefer it be through this message board.

This page basically states that if you need help, try the forum, and if you do not get help there, it outlines your other options.
